I started running about 2 weeks ago. I'm 16 (almost 17), skinny, and ran my first 5k after a week of training and got a time around 32 minutes (terrible, but I finished, and it was my first race with only a week of training). I plan on running all winter, spring, and summer in order to do better on the cross country team next year. About how long will it take me to get to a sub-20 time? I'm very dedicated and work hard at everything I do. My goal is sub-20 by September 2015, but I don't know if that's possible because (like I said) I started running 2 weeks ago and therefore I'm not sure how quickly I can improve.
