Man, Adidas has nailed it with the new Boston.

except it's bloody RED
why would they make a shoe red?
I'm not into fashion statements.
There's a grey one as well. Thankfully red isn't the only colorway, I'm interested in picking up a pair pretty soon.
I have put around 50 miles on the Boston Boost. They are AMAZING! Adidas did nail this one.
Personally, I like the bright red.

Yes it's loud but it doesn't bother me. Don't wear it for fashion.
How does it compare to the glide 6?

Much lower profile midsole. Lower drop, more from fitting upper. Good response from midsole. Not as firm as prior versions but firm enough. Great shoe.
Is that you, Shawn?
I agree awesome shoe. Feels as cushioned yet responsive as the Boston 4's but even lighter. It is only a few oz more than the Adios Boost 2 which I thought felt kind of sloppy underfoot.
FYI/Heads up-
Just got my Glide 6s from the adidas.com store
Turns out there's a small chunk of boost material that's come off from the sole material on the inner heal of the left shoe. It looks like on of the small circular clumps fell off and now a indent is left.
SUCKS
Now, I tried to return... Turns out, they didn't include a UPS shipping slip. I call in and find out from Customer Service that it will take 2 days for me to receive the UPS Slip on my e-mail.
All in all, weak experience.
With Running Warehouse, I have the shoes at my doorstep in 3 days (took 9 business days with the adidas store- slow ass order processing). Its too bad they don't have the colorway I want.
I let adidas.com have another chance and reordered another pair from them while I wait for the e-mail with the shipping slip, but right now I have $280 tied up in my credit for a pair of running shoes that will take about 14 days total to have! Ridiculous! If anything goes is wrong with the second pair in terms of QC again, I'm never buying there again!
Well why the hell did you order online? You could go into your local store, buy them on the spot, and then return if you need to. Idioticy.
$99 Dicks online free shipping both ways.

Wow! thx for the heads up!
lol
I just tried calling in to cancel @ adidas.com... lady told me it can't be canceled (placed order 2 hours ago)
adidas.com for the win!

There are just as many people who would say to a plain colored shoe, "it's so boring...why don't they do something with it?"

Yes. Just ran in my Bostons after returning the Adios. LOVE these shoes. I had a pair of Adios that were a few years old, loved those shoes, but the new ones just didn't fit right, especially in the toe box. They felt too big and .5 size down was way too small (for me).
And the order didn't cancel and it Shipped Out
FVCK the adidas online store.
NEVER buying from them again.
I have never experienced such failure buying online before.
Been running with the Glide 6 for two months now and quite like them. I tried the Adios Boost 1 but as someone posted above the upper felt "sloppy", and I'd add plasticky.
On the BB5 it looks like the Boost material doesn't extend as far under the forefoot as on the Glide or Adios, wonder if you can feel that if you're a forefoot striker?

Actually according to runnersworld the drop of the BB5 is supposed to be 9.4mm vs 8.7mm on the Glide Boost :
BB5 : 29.8-20.4=9.4
GB6 : 31.7-23=8.7
AB2 : 27.4-18=9.4
AB1 : 27.5-17.1=10.4
A2 : 28.1-19.1=9
As a side-note you can see what Boost brings with A2 vs AB1, A2 feeling really "hard" in the FF and AB1 quite soft even though there is less material (assuming the RW numbers are correct).
Can the Boston Boost be used for marathon racing or is it mainly a training shoe?
I suppose it's going to depend on your weight and time, if you're light enough and fast enough, they should be fine for a marathon...not sure where to draw the line though!
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
