Haven't bought the book yet but just gathering some info on it. For those of you familiar with it or have tried it, is it ok for a novice weightlifter to do? The program stresses proper form and the use of lifting heavy barbells. I would just be me doing it and probably won't have the use of a spotter to spot me and watch my form. There isn't no work around for this, that's just what I'm up against.
Can it be done? The squat and bench press are the two exercises that concern me because of the potential for injury.
Also, what's the deal with the diet in this book? Did you follow it or just stay within your normal diet. I'm not looking to gain weight but I guess that's contradicts what a strength building program is all about? This would be done in conjuction with base training also.
