What does being Single have to do with landing a job? Is 15:30 on your resume? Have you looked at companies that participate in the corporate challenge?
Have you tried a job in Gay Porn?
31, trapped in the most marginal forms of employment in existence, independent contractor jobs that pay less than min. wage. Moving to North Dakota next spring.
Friend graduated Fordham in June has only had one interview that did not come from an insider connection. No offers from other interviews.
He said all start at or less than he makes as a five shift waiter in a popular LES restaurant.
It is bad out there-really bad.

A Global Jobs Crisis is Coming, Says World Bank
http://time.com/3308095/a-global-jobs-crisis-is-coming-says-world-bank/
Been unemployed for a little over 2 years now. The way I look at it, at least when we are dead, we will not have to worry about the economy.
News outlets and personal anecdotes seem to reinforce the contention that lots of college graduates are having difficulties landing any job, much less good fit jobs / jobs in a certain field. I've heard of such things intermittently since 2008, but it feels slightly vindicating to here it now, since I'm thinking of following my entrepreneurial plans, dreams and instincts, instead of the part-time conventional stuff which just isn't working out well. I think the nature of our society and economy going into the future (information society, information economy) demands new kinds of jobs and roles and creating new structures and most of the conventional paths are oversupplied.
Keep crying and whining and you won't find a job.

Lots of people laugh and b!tch about the $15 minimum wage effort, but you'll be thankful for the movement in a few years.
I have 2 jobs and am having trouble getting rid of one.
I would give you mine but the only thing that sucks worse than having a job is having to look for one.
No problem finding a job, but I'm an accountant. Everyone needs a bean counter.

How exactly will doubling the minimum wage help him find a job?
Craigslist > your city > jobs
Easy as that.
H-1B visas & illegal immigration - are these guys having trouble finding jobs? No because they have yours.
Wow, wherever do you find the time to post with all that job hunting going on?

You need to live in area where there are jobs.
There's no job entitlement because of your degree.
Be willing to start low.
You need to network the heck out of yourself.
10-15 new contacts each day. People know other people. Just ask for contact info and reach out end keep reaching until you have a job.
Help others looking for jobs. Never stop doing this.
I was nothing special. Degree in history but didn't want to teach, changed careers 3-4 times but I could always find jobs. I was better at that than staying in a job.
Job search often feels like "on the verge of the abyss", chaos.
It's not responding to jobs via the internet.
It's not about the resume.
Network !

Possibly, but due to being 30+, I do not want to do hard labor on an oil rig. I will be looking into warehouse, transportation, and railroad jobs first.
