Take that Global Warming Alarmists!!!
Take that Global Warming Alarmists!!!
But scientists whose research money depends on global warming all say that the earth is getting warmer. I mean we should totally believe them, right? Humans have never had an agenda of some sort for this thing called "money" or whatever.
Is this as compared to the invisible ice out there that you can't "see"?
I'm sure there are some "climate change" models out there that predicted every possible change in the climate. Those models will now be pushed as the most accurate models and their future predictions will now carry more weight. "Change we can believe in" Blame Bush....etc..
Sea ice extent around Antarctica is greatest since proper records began in 1978.
But the land ice (a much, much, much larger volume of ice) continues to decline.
More selective statistics...

You can't "see" it because it's in a place that doesn't exist...the "Antartic".
I read a bit about these measurements and it is good news. What remains troubling is that the increase in the ice pack appears to be attributed to wind variations rather than temperature variations. The observations don't appear to challenge the current CC models.
IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE!!!!!
OMG I NEED TO SEND AL GORE SOME MONEY!!
My brother in law is getting his PhD in geography specializing in sea ice remote sensing.
Basically these studies usually mean total surface area has increased. But what is of most concern is sea ice volume. You may have more area, but if the ice is very thin, then it's not a large increase in sea ice.
The overall trend is towards less and less sea ice over the years.
Does't increased sea ice mean that the ice has been melting off the land and into the sea?
Yes, Antarctica is a continent. It's *land*.
Yes, the water in the ocean is spelled "sea", not "see".
Yes, the result you have posted about means the exact opposite of what you think it does.
