But yeah, I'll agree. The comparison isn't bad.
There is a certain feeling of pleasure you get from running barefoot or in very minimal footwear that is lost when running in conventional footwear.
The bottom of your feet is one of the parts of the body with most nerve endings, so it's not all that surprising really.
