How fast could the kid run 200m, 400m, mile, 3k and 5k at the age of 15?

I don't know enough about his early history to be sure, but wasn't that his first year running?
Oregon's cut off date is Sept. 1st, meaning that Rupp turned 15 some time during his Freshman year, and I've read on this board that his freshman year was when Salazar converted him into a runner from a soccer player.
Galen started running seriously in the spring of freshman year. Earlier in the Fall, Alberto had been tipped off by the soccer coach that the kid was a great runner when he was putting out some fast 200s. The summer after freshman year he ran about a 9min 3k in a paced time trial. Sophomore year XC he finished 5th or 6th in a very talented state meet. Then for sophomore year track he ran sub 4 for the 1500 in the 8:30s for the 3k

What on earth does this mean?
In most States, children with the same birth year are in the same year in school.
In Oregon, children born between September and August are in the same year in school. Given Rupp's May birthday, this means he 15 years old as a freshman (9th year).
It is much easier to find Rupp's freshman PRs than his PR at the age of 15.

Ok! Anybody who knows his freshman PRs then?
My best guesses:
25.2
51.3
4:22.7
8:55.9
16:02.5

He probably means in the state of Oregon, you're supposed to enroll your children in the grade according to their age on Sept 1st. So, if Galen turned 5 in August, he would have enrolled in kindergarden as a 4-year-old the year prior.
So, it means unless Galen went off the schedule, he would enter 9th grade as a 14-year-old and turn 15 sometime before Sept 1 in the Fall of his 10th-grade year.
^mistake I meant if he turned 6 in Aug, he would enter kindergarten the year prior as a 5 y/o

Did he DNF a lot of soccer games?

Thanks for the information. No need to be a provincial twerp.
I am from the UK and live in Holland. Do you know how Utrect school years break down by birth date?
TIL: Galen Rupp and I ran about the same mile time as freshmen.
His PR is now 30 seconds faster than mine.
He had remarkably little speed for such a successful runner!

Or rather, he focused only on the longer distances and only ran shorter distances in easy dual meets for the win. I think it's fair to say he had speed.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
