Typing mlb.com still works for me. You might have to clear your DNS cache or something. If you're on Windows open the command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns.

I'm not an internet expert, but it works on Chrome for me. I just type in "mlb.com".
I'm a big baseball fan. It consistently blows my mind that I can't type mlb.com and be taken the the mlb website.
Even though their logo says mlb.com, I can't get to that site unless I type in mlb.mlb.com or
. This is in chrome. It seems to work in firefox.
Can someone please explain this to me? If I type letsrun.com or
it both comes here.
This really confuses me and drives me nuts. Plus how could a multibillion dollar business not have this set up?
I have the exact same problem. Drives me crazy.
Just bookmark the page and set up a bookmark toolbar. One click on the open browser will take you to any of your favorite sites.
No need to rage against the machine when there are easier paths to take.
Works for me also. I type in mlb.com and it takes me to mlb.mlb.com/home which is MLB's website.
Rojo, where does you browser take you when you type mlb.com?
When I type mlb.com in Chrome on my Chromebook, it opens the mlb home page, but the URL is shown as
even though that's not what I typed.
There is a short cut you can use. If you just type mlb and then hit ctrl+enter, it will fill out the www. and .com parts for you.

No way it could be something wrong that you are doing. It just MUST be the multi billion dollar business' fault. Is this really how you reason?
It's because Chrome sucks. Use Firefox instead.

You should also be able to set a keyword for a site (MLB). Start typing MLB and the bookmark should up as the second suggested link option. Click the down arrow once, then press return.
You have to clear the porn cookies from your computer for this to work.

The most obvious answer is, are you sure that you're typing in mlb.com or something else? Scrupulous attention has never been a strong point of yours..
