No reason why Pistorius shouldn't be allowed to compete at Rio, if he is by then a free man. If he gets a suspended sentence, or little jail time.

If he races every woman in the stadium should stand and turn their backs on him to honor Reeva.

If there is a rule on the books that says as much, how can he hand-wave and obfuscate? He wanst endorsing the man he was stating the eligibility criteria as they exist.

The prosecution didn’t prove their case against him because the verdict was purely at the discretion of an affirmative action appointed judge.

Whatever the intent - Pistorius recklessly killed Reeva Steenkamp.

Of that there is no dispute and he should serve time and I think there has been enough evidence to emerge to suggest that Pistorius is not the sort of person that should be representing any country at an Olympic Games.

I understand an American footballer has been banned for life for ‘simply’ punching his girlfriend, who subsequently married him - and a killer should be allowed to compete?

His announcement made me really angry. There is a time and a place for everything but yesterday was not the time and a place to respond to a question about Pistorius' eligibility.

Pistorius is the ultimate cheat and he does it blatantly - i cant believe they let this guy run in the real Olympics before he killed somebody, and now he gets to again, WTF!

Maybe allow him to run the special Olympics. Not having to deal with calf recovery is a huge advantage - having legs that provide better energy return than human muscle is downright unfair.

if lance isnt allowed to run a 5k or marathon for fun, that is downright ridiculous. He should certainly have to pay for entry and not be allowed to collect prize money.
