I hear they are going to cancel due to climate change. No refunds.
Don't know about the women's field outside Kara/Desi. Desi will obviously beat Kara. Desi will run around 2:24-2:26 depending on the weather. Kara will run around 2:28-2:30 depending on the weather.
Men's field, I'm gonna say Ryan Vail is top American and runs 2:10:3x for a 2x second period. Geoffrey Mutai contends for the 3-peat, I'm too biased here to be objective, but I'm rooting for the guy, he's one of my favorite marathoners. Winning time will be 2:07-2:08 on an average weather day, 2:05-2:06 on a perfect day.
A bunch of new names have just been released. Call Wilson Kipsang and Mary Keitany the favorites.
men's side will be fast...not sure about the women though...but desi vs. kara should be interesting.

The time gap will be interesting , given Desi's past year she will finish ahead of Kara by how big the time gap will be interesting. My guess 4 minutes.
