Just got done with a workout that was 8x1000m w/ 3:00 min rest in between each. I went 3:10, 3:06, 3:06, 3:07, 3:05, 3:04, 3:04, 3:05. Effort was pretty controlled. At no point did I feel like I was dying, but it was definitely a quality workout. The last 2 were a little bit less comfortable than the rest, but nothing too out of line obviously since I kept the pace.
-Weather was fairly mild about 84 degrees, 8mph wind, something like 80%+ humidity.
-Terrain was on longer than ideal lengthed grass, but not crazy thick. Wore flats. Fairly flat with one gradual incline from 600-800. (Course included 2 really sharp turns if that means anything at all)
-My PR from last year was 16:05.
If you need more detail i'll answer any questions, but my goal for this year was to run like 15:30 or so. How close am I to doing that on a fairly similarly terrained LEGIT course?
