No, he did indeed beat them. He was more ready for a 1500m today than they were.

Barshim with a ridiculous clearance at 2.37!
Barshim is going HUGE. Helluva lot of clearance over that bar.

Seriously? There are plenty others who shouldn't be allowed to post on this site or anywhere else, the least of whom are relatively harmles Rupp fans. Odd that you would essentially single them out as the worst posters on your site.
I'm calling it now. MMB breaks 8.

Gatlin may be a damn dirty doper, but at least he's out there destroying the competition this year. Pretty weak for Bolt and Blake to just sit this season out.
Oh, I didn't realize this was an Olympic year.

Rupp got a PR. Not bad, but not competitive in the last 200 which was to be expected given he's a 10k guy.
Rupp's been sticking his nose in there in both the 5 and the 1500 but he winds up going backwards with 150 left. He needs to improve that closing speed substantially if he's going to have any chance at a medal in the 5 and maybe even the 10.
Barshim 2.43!! Yes!
Made it look just as easy at 2.40. Good high jump action makes up for missing most of the steeple
Barshim, I think, has jumped the WR height at least twice.
2.43 cleared by barshim!
5:21:43 2000m steeple

Three tenths off his PB. No reason to expect him to run much faster.

Rupp got a PR. Not bad, but not competitive in the last 200 which was to be expected given he's a 10k guy. But some just couldn't understand that coming in.
Weldon gave me permission to offer $3,330 as a guarantee that wasn't going to happen but I was on a train this morning and forgot to post it.
it is funny though that he 'beat' both Kiprop and Manzano.
Yeah, tell that to the 8%, wtf? Just like this site to play to the margins, as evidenced by the unbalanced responses to Rupp's pb.
But hey, let's not point out the percentage of folks who predicted Leo would win. Let's just focus on nut jobs who hate rupp and nop.

He once again proves to be the best talent the U.S. has seen since Webb.
Brenda powered to the lead with about 150 left and held on strong.

How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
