Wow - Gatlin destroyed the field!
And Gay was in the race? Geez, some showing.
Here's Ben Johnson's win of 9.79 to 9.92 over Lewis in Seoul:
Gatlin just won 9.77 to 9.93
That's dominating.

Nice win for SRR but Novlene Williams Mills had the DL title wrapped up despite not going sub 50 this year.
SRR had a big lead and just held off Commonwealth champ McPherson.
Kszcot wins the 1000 in a 3 way finish with Lewandowski.
Aman 2nd.
Kszcot.
Only Chemut went with rabbit with a gap to the Poles and then a gap to Aman.
They closed quickly and it was neck and neck the last 100m.
Where are all these Poles coming from?

That was an awesome men's 1k. A fun race but the commentators totall ignored the race aspect of it.
Too bad the commentating wasn't up to it. They should have been playing up the fact Chemut had a big 1.3 second lead at 400, was trying to steal it, then it looked like a truck hit him. Oh well.
Talking about a bear climbing on a guys back!!! Wow he just stopped at 800.

Wow Merritt is in the 110 field. I didn't even know he was running this year. Just looked it up. He's been so slow I didn't notice. 13.27 in a low key meet in Eugene is his pb.

1:48.87 at 800m, or 27.2 pace per 200m. Then the top three were slightly under 27 seconds for the last 200m. Not really all that quick a finish considering how slow the 800m split was.
Two seconds slower than Wohlhuter ran 40 years ago. Could last another 40 as the American record.
I think they weren't sure Chemut was a 2nd pacemaker or if he was competing.
Aries Merritt most obvious doper ever?
Man, Will Sharman gets on my nerves. He's always making excuses.

Merritt's best is 13.39 in Europe this year.
Rupp looked so good thru 1200 meters!!! Gah! Solid race regardless, everyone was in it with 300 to go
Why do pros do dumb crap at the finish line like that.
RUPP TAKES DOWN KIPROP!!! HE IS THE NEW ALAN WEBB INCARNATE!!
MAKLOUFI IS GREATEST. ALL OTHER RUNNERS ARE BAD. THEY NEED TO GO HOME TO THEIR MOMMIES. :)
P.s. Rupp beat Kiprop
