Since June of 2013 I have been running 50 mpw, since October of 2013I have been running 60mpw since march or 2014 I got injured and ran 40 mpw and over this past summer starting with the end of may built to 70 and have already hit 80 mpw twice with comfort.
Just a flow of my milage
So during the track season after the injury I took the entire season to recover and made it back for nationals to pr with a :52 400 meters, 1:59 800 meters, a 4:13 1500 meters and a 16:44 5k, all pr's
Obviously I took on a heavy load for the summer training implementing tempos, fartleks and core/upper body and such, to say the least I did a lot more than ever before.
I came into the xc season first race, a 5k and ran a 15:53, while my distance times usually lack and my speed is fine I have shown much improvement at least for myself.
I am curious as to what you guys think an hit in my track races or even in the 8k with my training continuing to progress like this.
A little idea of where my workouts are- we did a time trial which I did in 17:37, a really tough course, we ran our mile repeat course 3 times. My mile repeats on this course have been sub 5:20
