I heard this. Anybody have more info? I heard he quit to focus only on coaching his small elite women's club (conley, etc.)
Anybody have an inside scoop?

Seems like an odd choice. What was broken with the last few years? It seems like it was working for Conley, so why throw away the college coaching to make a radical change in your coaching for Conley when coaching Conley seemed to be working. I mean he coached her from what, 17:30 to low 15s in like 4 years while coaching college as well?
I would be worried about having all of my time and effot now dedicated to one athlete's training. I think the risk is very high of overanalyzing, overthinking, and having way too much pressure on that one athlete and her workouts. Sounds like a big gamble with the potential for burnout.
But I dont have inside knowledge, so could be wrong here.
So is Devin Elizondo serving as interim XC head coach for now?
From what I heard, he was kind of a douche. Seems like he developed girls pretty well, but whatever.
Check with Amanda Mergaert about his coaching.
Amanda Mergaert is married and out of the sport. How long did she train with Drew? 6 months?
Long enough to see the light. Pretty sure that she is not out of the sport or married.
NorCal Distance Project has received new funding.
Why is it that douches make the best women coaches?
