Hello. I run for a high level D2 school. My mileage is currently around 85. In addition to running, core, and a few other lower body exercises I've also been biking maybe 3-5 hours a week.
My question regarding is how much of a benefit would I get from using swimming as cross-training? I will ask my coach an see what he says as he is a very knowledge person, but i was wondering what LRC thought about this topic.
If you think it would be worth it to swim please tell me why and what types of strokes I should do, or should I stick to aqua jogging? If not please tell me why as well.
