I work with a 32 year old guy who has a old PR of 10 high in 100m and he can currently run 11 mid.
He still works out on the track to maintain his speed but he also enjoys running on trails (very slowly). he tells me that he wants to start training for longer distances. He claims the can run a half marathon in 2 hours (!). I like this guy and want to see what he can do. Should he just start running long slow distace and see what he can do at long distances or should he see what he can do at 1500-5000?
