Heck, the Native American post is still running, how about this one? There has to be more!
Running encounters:
YR: Running on a dirt trail in an Open Space park outside of the city and wave or nod to passing runners.
BCR: Running on a Rural paved road that hasn't been repaved in nine years, and flip off High School kids (that know who you are because only 300 kids go to your High school) who call you a fag and throw beer cans at you while practically hanging out of their '92 Ford Pick-up with a 3 inch lift (They also think that they have the greatest and toughest car in the world)
Peoples impressions while they drive past you running:
YR: "Wow, he is in great shape...I need to go to the Gym More..." Then the driver slows down and gives you a wave.
BCR: "What the hell is that kid doing?...GET OUT OF THE ROAD IDIOT!!! Then the driver punches the gas pedal and flies past you.
Ah... Bringing back old high School memories...
you are a moron.

YR- Dan Browne
BCR- Wejo
I would have to say the ultimate BCR would be Mark Nenow. But for the sake of this discussion in particular, let it be known that Wejo is my pick for greatest BCR of the past 15 years.
Okay knock off the asskissing. Even though hes WT at his core Wejo is absolutely YR in fact he's the Ultimate YR. Despite both schools having academic prestige theres no college that's more BC than the service academies and thats what Browne is a product of which is the extreme opposite of yuppy Ivy kids who receive zero need-based aid.
This one rules!I have an addition:Things yelled at the runner:YR: "Run Forrest, RUN!"BCR: "FAAAAGGGGGG!!!!"
Pre-Race Attire:
YR: Gore Tex Jacket (and fanny pack to carry it in)
BCR: Brand X Garbage Bag
BCR or YR?

if you were educated, you wouldn't vote for a liar.
You just branded every single voter in the presidential races over the past half century as being uneducated.
Neither are those long-hair hippies. More like acts like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and former Okie State spear-chucker Garth Brooks.

Tool isn't blue collar! Blue collar would be a band like the Allman Brothers or Creedence. (sic)
Agree with what someone said above about Wejo but I don't know how or why people are overlooking the man who is probably the epitome and soul of BCR among the elites of the past 30 years and that's Steve Jones. His story must not be familiar enough with posters on this site. Oh and irony of ironies last I heard he still lived in Boulder.

Wells Lamont? If those aren't some variation on the little black cotton ones that get holes really quick, I'd say switch that. Plus the Nike Shox vs. minimalist really isn't a distinction between yuppie and blue collar. Yes shox are expensive, but who runs in those that's fast anyways? Zoom Elites are minimalist and they also aren't that cheap. Worth it to me anyways. The H Streets really aren't very cheap for how much is built into them.
Interesting though, not trying to knock you. Let's hear more.
I'm fast for a 38 yo has-been (pretty hard-core, too). I have found that the shox are quite good actually, and one of the reasons I like them is that they last a LONG time.
Funny post, but a little off on this one.
I have a bit of blue collar and yuppie in me. I hate HRM's, but I love technical fabrics.
Out.
College running is "la-la land running" college campuses are about as far removed from reality than anything I can think of.
Names..names
YR: 13:39 5000 at a major meet.
BCR: Comes home from his 12th annual bitch fun run and watches said YR on TV.
