now who is the poster girl for each group?
Runners are all yuppies (myself included). Running is not a blue-collar sport in this country. You can find them, but you've got to look hard.
My cousin is a tool-and-die man at the Jeep plant in Toledo, and he says there's a guy who runs to work every day with his tools in a backpack, changes into coveralls on the plant floor, then changes back and runs home. THAT's a blue-collar runner.

Come on its 50! Don't know 'bout you but here in WI that calls for no shirt.
fav. race tactic:
YR: sit and kick with 100m to go
BCR: tactics? "...i just run hard"
which reminds me:
Jounalist: Steve, what do you of teh physcology of running?
Stev Jones: physcology? dont ask me mate, i'm a runner!

BCR-Doesn't have the internet or could care less about what YRs like us at Letsrun.com think.
All letsrunners are YR. No shame....just the truth.

BCR: Outlet stores
BCR: Cross Country
BCR: Hell no
BCR: Ball cap
BCR: College football
Yes - that's a blue collar beer. Schlitz or Pabst is white trash.[/quote]
I'd hate to read what you say about Black Label. Not the yummy Candadian variety mind you, but the ridiculously awful American variety. Also Genny Cream Ale is horrible.
Now THAT'S the best one so far. Excellent job there northrunning! I can't do better than that, so I won't even try.
This is the first thing I thought when I read the first post. Hahaha
