Runners are all yuppies (myself included). Running is not a blue-collar sport in this country. You can find them, but you've got to look hard. My cousin is a tool-and-die man at the Jeep plant in Toledo, and he says there's a guy who runs to work every day with his tools in a backpack, changes into coveralls on the plant floor, then changes back and runs home. THAT's a blue-collar runner. |
