Can someone help me understand these MRI results. Does this mean everything is okay? I'm still feeling pain but am cleared to run.
From the doctor:
Your MRI results have returned. Luckily, everything looks good. There are no fractures and no ligament/tendon tears or strains. There is some fluid around some of the tendons and bones, which could be a normal variant or could be signs from your body healing. Everything else is completely normal. Based on this, you may do activity on your foot as your pain level allows.
This is not a sports doctor nor does he understand running. I've been out couple of weeks with sore foot. It is sore all over the foot and rest has done nothing. Although this is good news I feel something is wrong. What does the fluid mean? he does say this could be normal. I want to run but not start a season with foot pain.
