Yes she is at Wisconsin, my guess is she has to sit out this year as a transfer.
You would think Oregon would have granted her a release. Out of conference etc
Allie transferred, yes. She does not appear on the badger cc roster. I think personal issues are holding her out from competition.
All the best Allie.
She may have transferred to Madison, Wisc, but it is doubtful that she will actually return to Division 1 running again.
Another O of O casualty.

She had too quick of a rise. I think when that happens you tend to break down much easier. She was first a tennis player who went out for track. She ran her first year for fun and discovered only a glimpse of her talent during the next two years eventually running 5:02/10:55 as a junior. When she finally joined cross country it was an eye opener for everybody involved and she went on to have a season coaches can only dream about.
Her second cross country race was a 14:28 4k. The first she went the wrong way or got lost or something like that. But what happened by week 4 or 5 was incredible. She wins the Roy Griak Invitational and doesn't realize the significance. She get's interviewed by a video company called "Flotrack" and had no idea who that was. She went on to break the state record, becoming the first sub-14 on the Ridges Golf Course (Seidel did it too that same day). Then when the distance moved up to 5k for the post-season meets she took two regions and finished all-american twice.
By February she was running 10:22 for two miles indoors. Then 10:11 for 32 at the state meet solo. Ran 4:54 despite only having 2:19 speed.
It was an amazing run. A once in a life time discovery essentially. Makes every coach's push, "You should come out for cross country" seem worthwhile.
But the rise was too much too soon. She lacked a strong mental foundation. I think she would have been better off at a school where she could continue to be the standout. Not a standout among many other standouts.
sounds like wisconsin free agency too me...
BINGO!!
I thought she was physically hurt. This thread implies it is psychological issue.
Wisconsin's women's roster hasn't been updated for freshmen/transfers yet.
Woodward was at the team's preseason camp in Door County.

She is now on the roster, although with minimal information still [De Pere, Notre Dame High School, 5'-6", Freshman (incorrect or FR for XC?)].
She might be RS Junior depending on injury history. Here is a link to her stats at U of O
If by psychological issue you mean eating disorder, I believe you're correct.
Type A perfectionist female runner falls victim to this awful disease once again. Best of luck to her, I'm glad Stinzi is gone so if she is a part of the WI squad she will hopefully continue to get better, not worse.
