I have a friend who swears by Hoka shoes. I'm now a huge Adidas Boost fan because they're comfortabole, they have great energy return, and my legs feel much better when I run in them. My friend says the same things about Hoka. Here's a good video on different models of Hoka shoes. Who among you run in Hoka, and please share your opinions. I may invest in a pair. While I love the Boost, at 52 years of age I'm always looking for something to enhance my running. Thanks.

At almost 200lbs I use the Bondi. I only run about 25 miles a week and spend a majority of my training time in the gym.
The Hoka's are good for running but I would not call them an all around shoe.
They are horrible for lateral movement or explosive plyometric exercise to include "box jumps."
I use the Hoka for slow active recovery runs.
For track stuff I have Nike and Asics; which are more responsive for faster paced running. I am not a competitive runner but running is a part of my vocation as a U.S. Military Service Member and is necessary in the performance of my duty.
