Does one's height have a noticeable impact on how your viewed and perceived by fellow co-workers and peers?
There are many contrasting examples, and I cannot figure out whether your height does or does not significantly affect your social standings.
For example, Tom Cruise is only 5'6 - 5'7 and he was considered one of the most attractive men in the world.
Then again, about half of the Top 500 Fortune companies' CEOs are at or above 6 feet tall.
If wondering about how much it effects an individual, it's impossible to know since everyone is different, and some shorter guys can compensate in other ways, but there are statistics, and it comes out to something like $1700 per year per inch, so someone who's 6'1 makes $3400 more each year than someone who is 5'11. I made that number up, but it's something like that. I'm sure google would know.
In the middle ranges it probably doesn't matter much, but a really short guy, say 5'5 or shorter, probably faces significant challenges, whereas a tall guy, say 6'3 or taller, has significant advantages. I'm 5'11 and haven't noticed anything one way or the other in how people treat me as opposed to someone who's 5'10 or 6'0, but that's just me.

2 jobs since I started working.
First job, regional company, $1.5 billion in revenue: CEO was around 6'3". President was his brother and about the same height. 4 other male executives/VPs with heights around 6'4", 6', 5'10" and 5'9". 1 female executive at about 5'8".
Second job, global Fortune 500, $3.3 billion in revenue: First CEO was around 6'4". Second CEO around 6'2". 5 male executives, 3 around 6'1" - 6'2", 2 around 5'10"-6'. 1 female executive at around 5'5". 33 vice presidents...seriously. Most above average height for gender. A couple definitely shorter, one male VP at about 5'5".
