I've increased my mileage slowing up I 50 mpw and after I woke up from a nap I noticed that my shins were sore and I can point my toe and there will be a sharp pain in my right shin. I also get this pain when I flex my lower leg. Now I'm a HS runner that's never really had any injuries and it would be devistating to get this right before season. I didn't feel it at all when running this morning only after I woke up. I'm scared to start running tommorrow. Could I just be sore? Any experience?
Oh yeah I did a probably my hardest speed season all summer on our home course of about 4x1200.
