How do I get myself used to running faster at an early time in the morning. I am starting 8:15am practice and I am used to running at 3-5pm. I can wake up and run early, but it doesn't feel comfortable and I'm tired. My legs also don't feel fresh. The only time I do early 7-8am runs is for easy 3-4 mile shakeouts. But now I have to be in workout mode at 8-9am. Just wondering what I should eat and when should I wake up. How do I make my legs feel fresh and ready to move at 8am, and make sure I am not tired? I'm thinking I'll go to sleep at 10:45 and wake up at 7am. But then I'm not sure what to eat with just an hour because I don't want to have bathroom/digestive problems.
Not a fan of caffeine and don't want to make that a habit at all if that was to be a potential suggestion.
I realize this will take a couple weeks to adjust to but any advice would be great. Really wanna get into a good routine so early morning workouts will feel good and natural. Any tips or sharing your routine if you're an early morning trainer would be sweet
