Hey everyone,
I currently am 4 months in to having Plantar Fasciitis, and I am to the point where after a TON of different remedies and doctors appointments, I can get through normal mileage with somewhat ease.
For workouts, I tend to use racing flats since they don't force me to go on my toes, which tends to put a lot of pressure on my plantar fascia.
With the XC season fastly approaching, I was wondering if anyone had any tips or experience with running with plantar fasciitis in SPIKES!
I can get away with running in flats during workouts, but I believe spikes are a significant enough advantage in XC to where I need to find a way to manage the pain in them.
Tape job?
Insoles for spikes?
Certain types of spikes better for them? Wider?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
First race is in less than a month!
