I am a sophomore varsity xc runner, and I have been oping with some sort of adductor strain. It isn't a very sharp pain, and it usually goes away in the first 600m of a race. I was wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences with this kind of injury, and if you have any advice. Also, I am racing a 4x3k mixed relay meet tomorrow.
which adductor muscle? If you're not sure get a proper diagnosis and go to a good PT to get suggestions.

I've had that and mine was a dull pain too, but for me it just got worse and worse as I ran. It didn't go away after a few hundred meters, it got worse, to the point I was finishing runs at a slow limp. It eventually went away. I'd say get it checked by a doctor or your school's trainers at the very least.
Yeah but I usually get it on the bike. I do some fastish strides before I get on the bike and it doesn't seem to affect me after that.
