I\\\'m not sure if there\\\'s been a thread started about this yet but could a runner get \\\'close\\\' to the same benefits training in this god awful heat and humidity compared to altitude training? I\\\'m from the south where the temps have been super high and the humidity is just as bad. I usually train in the PM and damn have my paces been suffering. It just makes me think if the comparison is somewhat close. I\\\'ll be heading up north for my peak race and I was just wondering what kind of difference it will make once the race approaches. Please help me out here and possibly discus this situation. Thanks.
