I was hoping some of you could predict how fast I can currently run for 5k and 8k. Today I did an 8x1k workout with 2 minutes rest between each k. I ran the workout on a hard dirt path at 5,500 feet. The path is has about a 25 foot elevation gain while running in one direction. I alternated running uphill and downhill.

I have been running about 60 mpw and I am generally better at the 1500 than the 5k.
