All the signs are there:
- Knowledge that he can't win.
- Stagnant 5000 times for years, not getting better this season.
- Quitter mentality.
Does anyone want to set odds on this near-certain DNS?
If someone asked you to predict DNS or not for this race, and if you are wrong you will be killed, would you honestly predict he starts? I wouldn't.
IF he actually starts, we will have more results to show his ceiling is firmly slower than 62.0 seconds per lap for 5000. Atrocious for a supposedly true elite distance runner. Go to the marathon already!
