All of us are hurting and are running REALLY slow. It doesn't feel like I've over trained (I can't speak for the others.) I have been doing 35-40 MPW and my goal was to hit a sub 18:00 3 mile by mid October but I don't know how it's going to happen if I don't take care of this problem.
So, our first race is Saturday September 6 and I want to be recovered and feeling good to race of course. The problem that I have is that my legs are always just tired/hurting (seems to be the case for all of us) and I haven't had a good work out in 2 weeks because of this problem. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get my ''fresh legs'' back for the first race/racing season?
I really need some help figuring out how to recover for the first race because after that we basically have a race every week. Thank you.
