Dyestat seems credible but this article, http://www.columbian.com/news/2014/aug/22/on-the-run-with-alexa/, that was published 3 days ago says she isn't turning pro yet. I guess we'll have to wait to see if Efraimson says anything about it herself.
Assuming the she did turn pro, after World Juniors and US seniors I really think she should have waited.
By the thread title, I thought you were going to link to a video made with her wearing a GoPro camera while running.

Yes, epic fail for my title :( Of course, mean't Goes Pro, but maybe she will make a go pro video too! I really wish LRC would let you edit titles of threads.
I'd bet money she doesn't end up with NOP. Only room for one prodigy in that group.
I read someplace she has been training with some of the quicker masters runners from the BAC, so perhaps Shumacher?
She's a great runner, but she's no Mary Cain. Do at least a year of college first.
Really dumb decision. I really hope she gets picked up by anyone but Salazar. Maybe Adidas or NB. But anything but Salazar.
She's never going to learn how to win. Bad choice motivated by $$$$$$. Understandable, but I think she'll regret it.
Next year is World's Championships. If she has ideas about perhaps working towards that goal it would be best to train and peak at the right time.
College athletic scholarships are nice but a runner has to compete in the events important to the school. Has there ever been a college runner successfully compete after a full year of college cross-country, indoor and and outdoor track?
Her twitter post on 8/21 says she was PDX-bound (Portland air port I believe).

She'll be staying with her coach, Mike Hickey.
This girl is very motivated and competitive and she trusts her coach. The Pro/school arrangement may work well for her. Let's try to assume that she will have a great career as a runner.

Exactly…I feel the same….
That's too bad... wrote:

What an odd thing to say
Could she still run footlocker or nxn?
She made the right choice. Our college system isn't all that great- ok they don't over race like they used to but she can do the same thing while making money.
