Hi,
I am doing an 18 week plan for my fifth marathon using the Hansons plan loosely (longer long runs, no speed workouts but all strength, and their tempos) to peak around 70.
I ran 62 last week with about 13 weeks out over 7 days and an 18 miler in there just for context.
I am running a 20K and 10 Miler six days apart next week (I've done one week apart races before) with about 12 week to go before the goal race.
I am trying to figure out how many other tune ups to do in the remaining time? There are potential halfs 8, 7, or 6 weeks out, and a ten k 5 weeks out.
So I'm wondering how many races you'll usually do and the distance?
