How would you react if Grant Fisher committed to Oregon?

I think he is smarter than that.

He seems like a Wisconsin or Stanford kind of guy to me.

heard he is interested in stanford, this was a while ago though so not sure where he is looking now

I'd like to see him go to Maryland and lead my Terps to a future B1G champsionship!

Hoping he goes to CU.

With about as much interest as I'd have if I heard he had toast this morning for breakfast.

I have heard that the changing of the guard in Ann Arbor is a factor.

Grant's too smart for Oregon. He'll probably go to either Stanford, Wisconsin, or Princeton.

Maybe he will surprise everyone and head to Arizona State like his dad did.

Grant is a low mileage guy so I believe it is highly unlikely that he will go to a high mileage program such as Wisconsin or Colorado. He is a very smart kid, but I think he is more concerned with how he fits in with the program/coach/school. Let's face it, there are so many great schools out there and just because one is ranked better academically doesn't mean that Grant will go there. He is a special talent looking for the whole package - one that is right for him and his future development.

How would I react? Hmmm... How would I react? Hmmm.... Wow, I guess it would really affect my life and I wouldn't be able to sleep for 2 to 3 weeks if he decided to go to Oregon, or wherever.

I am an Oregon fan, so I would be excited. I also understand that as a recruit, he will be looking more into how he fits in with the program/team/coach than how the program as done in the past.

We saw Kai pick Wisconsin over Stanford this past year because of how he connected with the coach/team.

So yes, people say CU, Oregon, Wisconsin, etc, but in reality the athlete will choose the school based on how well he fits within the team. He will be spending a lot of time with the team throughout his college career. If it's always awkward or forced, he will not do very well.

Oregon does have the best middle/distance coach in the Country Andy P so it would be a smart pick for Fisher to pick Oregon.
