RE: Walmart gives jobs to people who don't deserve them and put in no effort at all. Liberals should be singing its praises.

Liberals love eating at restaurants that employ underpaid staff, mostly illegal immigrants, with NO benefits or opportunity for advancement, but fabricate lies about Walmarts very generous wage and benefit opportunities.

A motivated person will strive for more than a walmart job. How an employer treats an employee also affects motivation. I worked at mcds once. They didn't care about effort at all. If we got slammed or a mistake happened they got in your face about it. "Dont like it? Find another job. You can be replaced." So I found another job and left on no days notice. And the big mouth managers make less than I do now. And you wonder why the employees dont care? Walmart doesn't care about them, why should they care about Walmart?

The goal of leftism is to destroy others' good fortunes, not help people get jobs.

Wal*Mart forces its employees to be on welfare and food stamps, since they can't make enough money to support their families. Why do conservanazis love Wal*Mart when it's such a huge welfare queen and drain on our national budget?

WalMart doesn't force people to be on food stamps and welfare. That is someone's choice, not a corporations choice. People have option to get a better job or go to school and NOT work at WalMart. Lets face it, if WalMart paid better, you would get a lot of bored housewives and otherwise more qualified people to fill those jobs, and the people who can only get a job at Walmart because they are not qualified for anything else will surely need government assistance. This IS the reason that fast food workers and grocery store clerks, etc, don't make $15/hour in most areas. Giving high wages to people who do menial jobs encourages people to not get an education and would cause inflation of salaries across the job market, which would lead to higher product costs and general economic inflation.

I agree that the employees at Walmart are generally horrible. But you only need to look to Walmart for an explanation of why their employees are so terrible. The pay is a few pennies above minimum wage. Most are kept on part time schedules to avoid benefits, raises and promotions. Many get fired after two or three years to avoid raises and promotions. Management treats employees like crap. They are verbally abusive and write employees up constantly to be able to pad the employment file for the inevitable termination. I would be more concerned with Walmart employees who accept the abuse and low wages than those who passively resist the oppression by doing crappy work. The latter at least have some fight left in them.

And if you think that is all BS, go to Trader Joe's or Costco and see the difference. Employees are paid a living wage and get full benefits. Trader Joe's employees make $40-60k a year. Average hourly wage at Costco is $20. They are fast, friendly, courteous and know the store inside out.

Oh you bleeding heart. What is stopping them for getting an education? Any poor black kid can go to community college for free. That is an option. When I went to college, I couldn't afford to go and I actually had to pay money by borrowing. People can go to school. They choose not to. It is their choice.

Walmart competes on price, not customer service.

If they paid more they would get better employees.

Because Costco and Trader Joes pay this much money, they attract better employees. My bet is if you take the average WalMart employees and put them in jobs at Costco for $20 and hour, that Costco would be just like WalMart. It is about the people the wages attract, not that people doing their job better because they get more money.

And you know these things from personal experience? Have you ever worked at Walmart? Cause I have, and you're an idiot.
