This is obviously a very tough choice, but I'd pick the mile as my lifetime goal is 3:59.9.

*You can run however many miles you want during TRAINING, but only your specific distance for RACING.
I guess I'd have to go with the 10K. It's short enough that I could utilize my speed while I still have it, and long enough that strength can still be a positive factor when my wheels are gone. Plus, there is no shortage of races to be found at that distance, presuming road and trail races count.

That's really difficult... I'd probably go for 1500, but that's only because I really love that event now, maybe in the future I won't be as enchanted by it, and want something longer...
Actually, I would choose 1500 - the training is more fun than the pure grind that is 5K - Marathon training...
1/2 marathon!
5000
The 800- the ultimate race.
I want a sticker that says:
0.5
10k, but what's the relevancy of this thread.
9006m
The two-mile
3000m
5 yards

5K
There are always 5Ks and I don't like racing farther than that.
The 800 and 1500 were my races back in the day.
Not sure which I would have chosen. I ran more 800 races but ultimately did better at the 15.

0.5 of what? - a 1600?
Those stickers are usually in terms of miles.
Get a sticker that says 0.497097

well, a marathon is actually slightly longer than 26.2 miles. Those stickers are generally given in tenths of a mile, so 0.5 is just fine.
Or you can say the stickers are generally given in numbers of three significant digits so 0.497 would be fine.

Relevancy? Nice.
