The OG heats team was lead off by Nils Duerinc's 47.1 putting them in eighth. In the final he was replaced by their 400m hurdler Michael Bultheel who took the baton in 6th and maintained 6th on the anchor leg.Johnathan and Kevin Borlee ran with Antoine Gillet in both the heats and final.Today's final saw a lineup of BEL 3:02.60 Julien Watrin 46.2e, Kevin Borlée 43.6e, Michaël Bultheel 46.91, Stef Vanhaeren 45.80e=estimate split time

Kevin Borlee splits 44.24 to get Belgium into the finals and then split 43.6 in the finals, the fastest split of the day and all for 7th place. A 46.9 leg in the finals pretty much did them in; I think this is the same athlete who previously put them a hole by splitting 47x in the Olympics and/or the WCs. I am not sure whether to praise Borlee for being a trooper or call him a fool.
