Celebrates (with his vest on) after gaping the field by 20m. Absolute carnage with multiple falls. Talk of anther possible DQ.

For those who didn't see, MB made big move and cut to inside as last lap began. Looked like he had plenty of room but his stride is so long that Orth (German) just clipped MB's heel and went down, causing major carnage behind him.
I don't think MB should get DQd for this one.
Yes, but did he punch the mascot after the race?

I don't see the complaints about the 20m celebration. Steve Crams gone a but mad on it. Loads of athletes have done it including some of Cram's favourites like Usain Bolt.

Why in the hell would he get DQed for just raising his arms? Your post is idiotic.
The comentators are saying he cut in too early with 400m tout just don't see it. The class of the field by far. Did everything he did in the steeple (celebrate on the home straight, signs at the crowd, slowing to a walk at the finish)except remove his singlet.
Just watched it. That was UNREAL by Mekhissi
Jogged a 52 last lap
Haven't seen anything like it since Ramzi
He was awesome. And I don't think the fall was his fault either. In fact, he may have been clipped himself. He owned that race even more than the steeple.
I hope he does a fast 1500 before the end of the season. Seems to be in sub 3:30 shape
seems like since there was that much carnage, Bennabad was lucky to win. Cant see him being better than Ingebrigtsen and Tsefaye
Haven't seen acceleration like that since Makhloufi in London. MB definitely brings attention to the sport but dropping 3:30/3:31 guys like that doesn't happen by just drinking your chocolate milk.
Did you see the race? He ran 52.1 last lap showboating up the home straight.
He was the absolute class of the field.
There were guys on his shoulder at the bell and he blew them all away.
Medal ceremony, awarded by Seb Coe. Looking mighty pleases with himself. Well deserved.
Didnt see the race, but only read about the falls behind him.
I did see the results where he won by only half a second and didnt think it was as spectacular as you make it out. I guess it must have been.
mmb is the most interesting person in athletics and there's nothing you can do about it.

I'm a fan, why would I want to do anything about it? I've said before, he's our Suarez and I meant it as a compliment.
poor Charlie Grice got knocked over, then when he was getting up, got knocked over again!
Among the major contenders, I know Tesfaye was severely obstructed and delayed by the fall in front of him. He still wound up only a couple of tenths from the medals so he might have given the toughest competition in a clean race.

Tesfaye couldn't even win the German nationals, he won't win a medal ever. Doesn't have the race insight.
With a whole other thread about our sport being boring, here are the few T&F stars who can't be accused of having personalities of cardboards:
1. Maheidine Mekhissi-Bebabbad
2. Usain Bolt
3. Ezekiel Kemboi
4. Blanca Vlasic
5. Robert Harting
