Hello everyone!
I am considering seriously getting into running and running competitively. I'm fairly fit, though I could definitely get fitter, and I'm a decent runner, with the potential to get a lot better.
Now I have read in several places that you can get better at running with age. I'm 24.
What types of distances can/could you get better at with age? Is it mainly long-distance running or middle-distance running too, such as the 1500 metres?
I understand that with shorter distances you generally cannot get to a high standard if you start working on it seriously from the age I am, but with longer distance running you can.
If any of you have some advice I would really appreciate it!
Thanks
