Teams competing this weekend.
Navy @ Gonzaga
HC @ ND
Bucknell @ Dickinson
Colgate @ Rochester
Army @ Iona
Does anyone know why Navy is going to Gonzaga? (other than to burn through all the hardworking tax payer's money that inflates their budget)

not sure, but some fast results put up by them on their course last weekend:
http://www.navysports.com/sports/m-xc/stats/2014-2015/mensvarsityrace.html
the course runs fast but that's a solid pack up front. patriots are theirs to lose.
Those Navy results have to scare the rest of the PL. If they can stay healthy and Shroeder doesnt implode at PL's it looks like they have it locked up already.
Recent results do sem indicate they pretty much have a lock on PLs this year. Assuming no injuries/ implosions I don't think anyone else has the depth to challenge.
Anyone think Navy has a legitimate shot at making nationals this year? They are in the really weak Mid-Atlantic region.
How did Navy do against Gonzaga today?
I'll answer my own question. SPOKANE, Wash. – Navy men’s cross country junior Steve Schroeder (Monticello, Ill.) placed first with a 25:04.25 mark to give Navy the dual meet win over Gonzaga, 23-36 Saturday.
Schroeder recorded his fifth career individual title with a time of 25:04.25. After Schroeder, teammates John Sweeney (Sr., Euclid, Ohio) and Zach Hebda (Sr., Pittsburgh, Pa.) crossed the finish line fourth and fifth, respectively, in 25:16.07 and 25:17.11.
Sam Peckham (Jr., Valencia, Calif.) and Mitchell Pratt (So.,Temple City, Calif.) placed sixth (25:17.83) and seventh (25:29.57) to round Navy’s five scoring runners to clinch the dual meet victory.
Looks like the Mids are well on the way to a strong season unlike the men in gray on the Hudson. Army looks to continue their insignificant ways in distance running!
The Patriot League Championships should be a good one though between Navy and Lehigh. My pick is Navy although they will lose some firepower after this season.
Teams competing this week...
BU @ Ted Owens invite (Central Connecticut)
Lehigh @ Haverford On Thursday.
Bucknell @ Virginia (Panorama Farms)
Mahalsky had an impressive win at Haverford. Beating Tiernan (13:31 5K pr) and the other Nova guys by that much is crazy.
Paul Shrot this weekend! Who is pumped for the first big patriot league showdown? Navy should be the top Patriot league team but who will be top patriot league individual?
halsky
After his quality run last week, I think Paul Short is Mahalsky's race to lose. I'm very proud of him. But I think Andrew Kutcha is one to watch out for, as he ran kind fast at Bucknell's opener and everyone knows that when a Bucknell guy runs fast there, we will drop some really good times throughout the season.
It hurts my feelings that Boston would rather hang out with their New England friends next weekend than come to the Patriot League sleep over in Bethlehem.

I enjoyed this post.
As Rassell said everyone is at Paul Short this weekend except BU. Bucknell is only in the Brown race instead of the usual Gold. Are they only running a B team after there A team had a rough showing at Virginia?
I wouldn't just assume navy is going to go in and clean up Lehigh. Remember this is their home course, and have the tools to beat navy. Its whether they can run to that standard on that day. Navy really hasn't thrown down anything that would indicate they are 100% better than the hawks. Their pack look goods, but if Lehigh can clean it up with their 2-5, which is likely. Will Miller be racing this weekend? If he is, that's dangerous.
So... Who thinks that the PL championship on Halloween is sort of fukced?
Adventure Club is playing a show in the city on HALLOWEEN NIGHT, and only Holy Cross can front the depth to send their top seven to go rage face the night before the race..
Bucknell isn't missing much since they rage every day anyways, and their women's team looks enough like a pack of goblins to substitute for the celebrations, but...
What about the academies? They have no fun or friends, and the 3rd most epic night of the year they have to go to bed at 10 in a hotel?
We should move the PL championship to Sunday and let these upstanding young athletes get their party on. Because let's be honest, aint nobody in the PL any good anyways..
Uhh, back on topic... Navy will crush the souls of all patriot league contenders with a Kennedy-esque Navy Seal beatdown only to be eclipsed by the Navy-Army dual meat, and then the PL championships.. Hopefully on Sunday(I wanna rage 2...)
Lehigh>Navy, because everything>Navy (except Army)
Aside from BU running away with the title again, who will take 2nd in the women's race?
