Final is tomorrow. LetsRun better mention Julius Yego if he wins this thing.

Agreed.
I think Walcott will most likely win it. yego could be second.
There's ANOTHER Kenyan in the javelin - Andrew Kiprotich - another Kalenjin name from the Rift Valley. Anyone know his story?
Kenya Is slowly becoming a complete track and field powerhouse. They already have good 200/400 sprinters, throwers and decent high jumpers.
They are natural spearchuckers!
Yego back in the lead b*tches
Mista YouTube Man!!!
In 10 years, probably there will be a Kenyan sub 10 athlete.
Proud of the "Youtube man" aka Julius Yego! He has been an inspiration and his success today goes on to solidify his status as a great role model to those Kenyan athletes trying their hands on throws, jumps and other field events! As for sprints, I thought Kenya was going to surprise with a medal in these games. With our new found USA based Carvin Nkanata, anything was possible. He already ran a 20"17 for 200m and 10.28 for the 100m despite the 100m not being his favorite event. I know it is hard to break 10" in 100m but this chap could do it if he focused on it. For 200m, I am certain he will go sub 20" by the time of the Olympics in 2016 if he stays the course!

Doper.
There are lots of great athletes out there in Kenya, not just distance runners. Though 10.00 seconds is quite rare from ANY country, I definitely think they could do quite well in those events too, much better than their past records would suggest.

THey will reverse it in the event that he tests positive.
No need to have a potato lodged in your throat.
In the meantime, we are celebrating. This gold was cheered more than the women's 10k or whatever else we swept.
WE ARE ON COURSE AND ON SCHEDULE!
Huah!

A sprinter goes to the land of Gatlin and Gay and a hundred others and suddenly stars showing surprising improvement? You'd better keep your fingers crossed on his test results.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
