A relatively small field in the steeple with only 10 athletes from 5 nations. This one is going to be interesting as you can at least count on the Kenyans to work to 8:05 pace so that Ndiku can break his PR of 8:07 and hopefully burn everyone else off. Other than the Kenyans, it appears the only serious threat to prevent the sweep (given a sub 8:20 race) is Canada's Matt Hughes, as his PR isn't that far off from Ndiku's.
