I know a lot has been posted on groin pain, but my question is more about pain that resolves with faster running. Essentially I've had left inner adductor pain for past year- stopped in spring for 6 weeks and got slightly better. Whenever I race, do tempo runs, 2 mile intervals, etc pain resolves after 20 seconds. Easy runs, slower paced long runs, recovery jogs are intensely painful- recovery jogs are the worst. Also this injury is remarkably more responsive to NSAIDs than other injuries I have had.
Anyway since pain resolves with fast running and NOT at all slowing me down, it seems silly to stop yet again. Anyone else have a similar type of injury ( not necessarily location) and just ignored it- if so did it finally resolve or at least not get worse?
