The above athletes were born in a country known for drug cheating. Should be assume they all were on some PED?
Thank you.
This is where I was coming to with my question.
Regarding age, those who siad thst the athletes are what they claim to be (in terms of age) do so just by merely trusting the system.
They say that athletes are vetted and therefore, age cheating is next to nil if not non existent.
It is a question of trust.
They also distrust African Federationsbecause they have either failed or abetted in falsifying athletes' age.
So, if I am getting it right, it is an issue of trust (USATF) Aand suspicion (AK and ETH Federation to name but two).
So, now that we know that several US Olympics and World Championships gold medallists as well as world record holders and US national record holders have tested positive for PEDS, ( Justin Gatlin, Tyson Gay, Marion Jones, Kelly White, Lashawn Merritt, US 4x4 men's relay team in Sidney Olympics, e.t.c., e.t.c., e.t.c.),
My question here becomes;
Should we TRUST Friday, Little and Kinniard, Baisden, Kaylin Whitney, Mary Cain et al or should we be SUSPICIOUS?
I am just trying to see the consistency in your argument.
Who is willing to take it up?
Let me also say this; I will talk abiut my Kenya;
We gain nothing by sending overage athletes.
We are not Qataris or Bahrainians who purchase medals.
We mould them.
We gain absolutely nothing.
And yes, WE HAVE RECORDS!
Now, back to my question.
Should we trust these US junior athletes or should we be suspicious?
