As a guy who needed to run 100mi weeks just to break 17 ( albeit in my late 30s) It would be nice to have some speed. Just for a few days it would be cool to see what that's like. I can't even break 5:00 in the mile. It's pathetic.
Speed. You can always move up.
Endurance, meh.. we can all train for endurance. You can't train speed.
both are really important.
