Easy run pace hasn't changed much since I started running and was much slower. But I was aerobically fit when I started so not sure if that has anything to do with it.

When I ran my pr six years ago at age 49 (18:16) my e pace was 8 min. My best 5k this year so far is 19:19 and my e pace is still 8 min.

Usual easy run pace: 8:00 - 8:15. Usually my short runs are slower, because my first mile or so is also my warmup.
Long run pace usual hovers around 8:00.
