Efraimson did not get a bronze at world juniors
World Youth Championships, not World Juniors.
I've never understood the point of having both, one is U19 the other is U18.

17 and under. I was misunderstanding, being thrown off by the wikipedia page for the 2013 compeition (which just said under 18). The page for the event as a whole clarified it as 17 and under

There is a place for both because there is quite a difference between a 17 and a 19 year old. Think about the comparison between and a H.S. junior and a college freshman.
For sure - coaching a young guy (HS Junior) who is competing at this meet. He will not be competitive - two years from will be a different story. So yes a couple of years (at this age anyway) can make a huge difference.

With a 34 ACT and 4.0 I hope not! BUT maybe that is the route to the NOP for him??
skinandbones (or similar) is his coach. He does post here so I doubt he'd use another name. There were a few juniors on the us team besides Grant?
