    From your facebook friends can you assemble a 25x1 mile, 1x1.2 mile relay capable of besting Wilson Kipsang's marathon WR of 2:02:23?

    26.2 4:08 which being lazy and saying he could run that pace for 1.2 gives a time of 4:57

    The total time for my facebook all star team is

    2:00:34.

    Can anyone go sub 2:00?

    I think most guys who ran at a major DI program can do this. Without bothering to add it all up or figure out exact PRs beyond the first four guys, I would start with a 3:52, followed by a 3:57, then 4:05, 4:06, then the remaining guys would all be between 4:10 and 4:30. During my 4 years at college, I ran with about 15 guys who were all in the 4:00 to 4:30 range (the guys approaching 4:30 were obviously 5k/10k guys who stopped running the mile after high school, so their PR is slower). Add in about 10 people I know from after college and you get the 2 sub 4 guys and fill out the rest of the team.

    I'm sure there are people on here who are facebook friends with a dozen sub 4 minute milers so would be able to "beat the world record" by a good 20-30 minutes.

    To beat the world record by 26 minutes would require averaging 3:41 pace.

    Tell me letsrun.com, where are all of you hiding your 26 friends who run 3:41 miles?
