Stonehill will win again. They have it on lock. They are better coached and have a tradition of dominating those other teams you mentioned.

Look for Bentley to impress. Tons of returning talent that didn't run last season plus a few solid recruits. They'll crack top 4, maybe 3. Heard it here first.

I don't think so! Stonehill will be no better than 3rd, behind FP, and Adelphi. Stonehill's reign over the NE-10, and Northeast Region is over.
Not seeing it collegesoph?
It is nice that they have 6 young returners from last year's championship - but I didn't see any major improvement by any of these guys in indoor or outdoor that would support your claim?
=======================================
Thomas Dean SO Bentley 26:57
Nik Haas FR Bentley 27:12
Erik Alatalo FR Bentley 27:33
Rupak Mehta FR Bentley 27:39
Sean Nee SO Bentley 27:48
Cullen McHale FR Bentley 28:05

You mention some quality recruits - can you share who?
With those recruits and those above - I would say that they would be in better shape next season - just not convinced that they have enough to move to the top 1/3 of the league right now.

I agree with nexctrackfan. Bentley lost everything two years ago. They are in the rebuilding process, which won't happen overnight. They are definitely on the right track with their current group of young runners, but they didn't show me anything this past outdoor season that even remotely indicated that they have a chance at top 3 in the region, and likely even top 5.

+1 ma wiggaz
I agree - it looks like Stonehill top 3 scorers at last year's championship were seniors, so unless they all have another year available from RS'ing earlier in their careers - they look to be in somewhat of a rebuilding mode. Now rebuilding for them probably keeps them in the top three - but makes it really difficult to compete with FP and Adelphi. Does anyone know the status of the Stonehill seniors that ran last year (Leoanrd, Fontanella and Waller? Are they done? Taking grad courses and staying?
So who joins FP, Adelphi,Stonehill & AIC in the top 1/3 of the conference?
Southern CT graduated their top two scorers and based on their 2014 roster(already posted)- does not appear to have added any incoming recruits that will contribute this season.
So I would say that Merrimack or St. Rose moves up into the 5th position. Neither one lost anyone to graduation and if Christensen is healthy (did not run indoor or outdoor) I would give the nod to Merrimack as he gives them a low number from the lead spot.
Interesting to see if either program brings in any decent recruits, which could swing it one way or another as well.
Not a big deal though - as there is a pretty big drop off after the first 4 teams anyway. Without a major increase in any type of $$ offered (see FP), it is very difficult to compete with the AIC model (get a few Kenyans) or Stonehill's tradition as being the top D2 program in NE.
Cina is back. and i believe some one else though i forget who.
Sean Grady will not be racing for Adelphi in the fall. He is on the team but was not fully released from New Haven. He will start up for track i think.
The real thing we need to be discussing is Biwott transferring to Merrimack! WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THIS?!?!?!
Heard it from a source, on the condition of anonymity, that he wanted to switch majors at AIC didn't have it.
I have faith in this team.
I heard John Braga was going to run cross country.

True, or not. Coach Mayo always has a backup plan!

Not true, Mayo brought another Kenyan named Glarius Rop! He is supposed to be pretty good.
True, but that's because their incoming recruits ~6 years ago were stacked. They did a great job developing those guys, and now the same thing is happening, but you're right that it won't happen overnight.
can we all agree the NE-10 would be better off WITHOUT Biwott- or other 26 year old African's Leo brings in (i.e. Rop, Yoshi.) Let's give someone else a chance at a regional title, eh?

No, keep em comin! This is competition, may the best runner win! Tabor Stevens won XC nationals last year, beating all foreign runners. He is born, raised in small town CO! Stop complaining, and train to win my friend!

These are the three "recruits". 9:43, 9:45, and a 9:22 3k.
Some solid recruits. Their avg 2 mile is a good 10 seconds faster than last years class. Look for Bentley to have a solid pack of top 8-10 runners
Thanks Evil Twin - nice job by Bentley to pull these three in - still think they are a year away but understand why you would be excited to have them join the Bentley team -best of luck!
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
