Shoes similar to Zoom Streak XC, but slightly wider.

I've been running in the Lunaracer for the past year and half, and wanted to move to a shoe that has a lower heel-to-toe drop and is a bit lower to the ground. I've been wearing the Zoom Streak XC3 for a few weeks, which I really like... but I get a blister between my big toe and the next one on my left foot every time I wear them (if I wrap those toes in a bit of tape/bandage I'm fine).

Is there a shoe similar to the Zoom Streak XC3 but with a slightly wider toe box (at least as big as the newer Lunaracers)? I noticed the Zoom Streak LT2 has a redesigned upper... should I look into those? I've also been considering:

- Adidas Hagio

- Adidas Takumi Sen

- Saucony Type A5/A6 (but I've had bad experiences with Saucony upper longevity)

Any comment comparing how these fit?

Pretty much any shoe is going to be slightly wider in the toe box.

The Steak LT2 is good. A little wider, comfortable upper but not as responsive in my opinion.

The A6 is nice. It runs a little long and not much wider than the XC3 Has a good ride and feel to it. I've only run two workouts in them thus far, so I'm uncertain about the durability of the upper.

I also like the new Hyperspeeds too but the upper material doesn't seem to drain as well which gets kind of annoying running your last 3 miles in squishy shoes with the summer humidity.

The latest Wave Universe has a really wide toe box, and a very flexible upper too. I'd say it's too thin for daily training, but it certainly fits the "lower to the ground" criteria you have.

Ekiden is a good choice... also the Skechers Meb Speed2.
